"King of the Stump" is an original artwork piece by Angie Evans. Using rough paper, pen and ink, Angie used a developed technique to create the texture of the Squirrel's fur and the bark on the tree stump.
These agile little guys first found there name in 1327, borrowed from the ancient Greek word, skiouros meaning Shadow-tail. Not only does Angie find them adorable, she just knew she had a great opportunity to draw this piece when one came and sat on her fence post.
Original: Unframed 14"x16"
