"Still Morning" is an original artwork by Angie Evans. Using rough paper, pen and ink, Angie employed her signature technique to capture the remarkable texture of a chipmunk's fur and the weathered grain of an old fence post — a quiet moment frozen in time.
These agile little creatures first found their name in 1327, borrowed from the ancient Greek word skiouros, meaning Shadow-tail. When one came and perched on her fence post, Angie knew she had found her subject.
