Turning Over A New Leaf is an original artwork piece by Angie Evans. Using art paper and monochrome coloured pencils, Angie created this hyper-realistic style by starting with the lighter areas, then moving towards the darker areas.
It was important for Angie to render the light catching the water drops in the same way she saw water drops on leaves around her home. The magnification of the leaf's veins and structure gives it a new perspective that she finds truly beautiful.
